<p>Learn safe stretching practices that will help bring flexibility and balance to the muscular skeletal system.  We will focus on safely and efficiently stretching and strengthening muscles while stabilizing the joints, (thereby lessoning the risk of injury), we will also practice breathing techniques and relaxation techniques, making each class a whole experience for the Runner.</p>
<p>There will be a group running early and then meeting at The Yoga Shed for the 7am class!  (Lucky legs!!!)</p>

&#8220;Hip Heaven&#8221;<br />

<p>Join Emma for this 8 week series dedicated to opening the Hips!  The hips are a governing joint in the body, meaning they rule  over other smaller joints&#8230; so when there is tension in the hips it is likely that the knees and lower back are also being effected&#8230;.  So the benefits of dedicating 8 weeks to the health of your hips  also extend to the knees and the lumbar spine (everything is after all connected!!) The series will include deep stretches to open and lengthen the muscles of the hips,  alignment techniques to bring balance to the bones and  muscles of the hips, knees and lower back.  The hips are also known in Yoga as our emotional storage unit&#8230; so as we unravel and open the hips physically we will also invite opening and release of stored emotions that no longer serve us.</p>
